Artist Bio

Charles Boyer began his career at Disneyland Resort creating humorous caricatures of visitors and their families for six months, and then came the big break. He joined the Marketing Art Department and became involved in all phases of graphics for Disneyland. As Charles recalls, "We did everything - designing, production, illustration. Eventually, the department grew and responsibilities became more specialized." His co-workers were mostly designers, so for awhile he was the only illustrator, giving Charles the unique distinction of being the first full time illustrator for Disneyland.

A prolific artisan, Charles created literally hundreds of illustrations for his limited-issue lithographs created for special Disney occasions. Charles recently retired from the Disneyland Resort, but his work continues to bring joy to many that visit this happy place.
